Centre of Excellence in VLSI: COE Activities

Department of Electronics and Communication, RNS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, has initiated the Center of Excellence in VLSI, a platform for the benefit of students in doing research, project, technical course and workshops and Industry institute interaction etc.

Various activities conducted by COE-VLSI are as follows:

1. The Center initiated the following technical training course with the help of experts from the industries (kanada technologies) for the 5^th semester students. The course with hands on experience was conducted. The contents of the various modules are as shown in the following table.

· Above program was planned for fifth and sixth semesters.

· Out of above four modules, Modules – 1 and 2 were conducted in 5^th semester module 3 during 6^th semester and module 4 in 7^th semester.

2. Students of 5^th semester and two faculty members visited NAL as part of Industry visit.

3. One day workshop on Latex was conducted on 12-04-2019 for the benefit faculty members of RNSIT. Dr. Rajini and Mr. Sanjay were the resource persons.

4. Students of UG/PG and Faculty members have presented papers in the National conference organized by ECE dept, RNSIT, held on 03/05/2019.

5. THREE DAYS WORKSHOP on Analog and Digital VLSI Design for staff.
